May 3, 2009 - We have loads of news for everyone. First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came out yesterday (May 2) to tryouts. We had a great effort by everyone who showed up, and it looks as though we will be a strong team this season. The roster will be posted as soon as it is available. We also have been noted in a few local publications for our efforts with the Putnam Business Association's Clean Up Day. We were featured in articles in the Norwich Bulletin and the Reminder News (Putnam Edition). We appreciate everyone's support and are looking forward to the start of the 2009 season!!!
April 26, 2009 - The Gambler's would like to say thank you to those who volunteered their time to participate in the annual Putnam Cleanup Day. We had several players as well as several non-players show up to support our local community and get the team's name out to those who don't know about us. We would like to thank: Head Coach Bryan Kennett, Brian Torrence, Chris "Bubba" Gauvin, Andrew "Ogre" Raymond, Zach Kennett, Heather Gomes, Danielle Talbot, and Travis Gauvin. Our participation was recognized by the Putnam Business Association, the Reminder Newspaper, and the community as a whole. By doing these type of events, we are getting our name out the those people who don't know who we are. Again, thank you to those who came down and pitched in to make our community that much better.
